Methodologies : Overview

This section deals with project management methodologies which control the whole shape of a project. Concepts which amount to tools which can be used in a number of project management environments are covered in the 'Concepts' section.

In fact this distinction is not as clear as it might, at first, seem. Some project management concepts could, in fact, be used to control the form of projects and some methodologies could be adapted and joined with others. In reality there is just a sea of ideas some 'bigger' than others.

We only make the distinction as a way to organize the articles, not to draw attention to a fundamental difference between the two sets of ideas.
